One reusable passport
One reusable passport. The current details you choose to share.
Build your Diver Passport once, update it when something changes, and use the same Sharing Link or QR code at your next check-in. Anyone who opens it sees the latest details you’ve chosen to share.
Personal information
Keep your name, date of birth, nationality, and an optional current photo as a recognition cue ready for check-in.
Certifications
Bring supported certifications from different agencies together with their numbers and issue dates.
Recent activity
Show your total dives and most recent dive date without maintaining another dive log.
Insurance
Keep policy or membership details, coverage dates, and an optional emergency-assistance number ready when you choose to share them.
How it works
From scattered details to a shareable passport
- 1
Create your passport
Create your free account, verify your email, and add the check-in details you want to keep together.
- 2
Choose what appears
Preview your passport and decide which personal details, certifications, insurance records, activity, and photo to share.
- 3
Share it at check-in
Show your Sharing Link or QR code. Dive-centre staff can open it without an account and copy the details they need.
Why keep one
Ready for the next dive centre
No dive-centre account required
Your Sharing Link opens in a browser, so dive-centre staff can use it without a SeaGist Sign In.
Change what appears
Update your sharing choices at any time. New requests to your Published Sharing Link open the current details you have chosen to share.
Stop future access
Unpublish your Sharing Link, or replace the link and QR code if they reach someone they should not. SeaGist does not provide viewer or scan history.
At the desk
Clear at a glance. Easy to use at check-in.
Your chosen details appear in a clear browser view. Dive-centre staff don’t need an account, and they can copy each value individually into their check-in system.

Good to know
Questions before you create your passport
Can my Diver Passport replace my original cards and documents?
No. SeaGist makes your details easier to show and copy at check-in, but each dive centre sets its own requirements. You may still need original certification cards, insurance documents, identification, or the centre’s own forms.
Does SeaGist verify my identity, certifications, or insurance?
No. Passport information is entered by the diver and is not independently verified. A dive centre may still ask to see original cards, documents, or identification.
Does the dive centre need an account?
No. Anyone with your Published Sharing Link or QR code can open the details you’ve chosen to share in their browser. No Sign In is needed.
Can I control what other people see?
Yes. You choose what appears and can change those choices at any time. You can also unpublish your Sharing Link or replace it and its QR code. These controls stop future access but can’t retract information someone has already viewed or copied.
Is SeaGist free?
Yes. All current SeaGist features are free, and no payment details are required.
Who can create a Diver Passport?
SeaGist is currently available to people aged 18 or older.
